Six Easy Ways to Add POP to Boring Surfaces

- A candle, big or small. They look great!

-Painted rocks add sparkle without overwhelming the eyes

-Or (similar to the last one) you could put non-painted crystal rocks on surfaces, too.

-Pictures and photos are often on walls, but I don't see them enough on surfaces. Try adding a picture of somebody or something you love to your night stand.
